Seacoast Artists Guild's Awards reception for the 8th Annual Fall Show were held on Tuesday night October 25th, 2011 at the Center Court of the Inlet Square Mall. Many of our members and their guests were in attendance and enjoyed the great food and music as well as the wonderful artwork which makes up this years Fall show. Our president Tom Britton welcomed the crowd and presided over the presentation of awards. 73 of our members entered a total of 145 pieces in the show. There were many rave reviews from the guests. One of the highlights of the evening was a framed certificate presented to Linda Ketron in which she was made an honorary lifetime member of Seacoast. Linda's dedication and support of the Arts in our community is greatly appreciated by Seacoast.
We wish to thank First Federal Bank and Lynn Small for their support throughout the year and making possible, by the bank's donation, Best-In-Show award, $500.00.
Also a big thank you to Jeff Rodier of the Art and Frame Outlet. Jeff donated three Honorable Mention certificates and provided us with the 3-D 1st place award.
And last but not least, we acknowledge Edna Fenske, Coordinator, and Dottie Covington, Co-coordinator, who made the show run smoothly and donated sooooo much time and effort.
